Welcome to the homepage for Engineering Cultures. The goal of this course is to help students figure out how and where to locate engineering problem solving in their lives while also holding onto their dreams. Students learn to assess engineering problems in historical and global perspectives and can improve their abilities to work with people who define problems differently than they do. To help meet growing demand for the course, both among undergraduates and as a vehicle for continuing education, we are developing an online version of this course. The online course offers students daily lessons that combine text, audio, video and still images. Student learning is maximized by active involvement with instructors and fellow students in various online activities, including homeworks, quizzes, writing assignments, exams, chat rooms, and discussion boards. Please browse the site for more information, and thanks for visiting.
